Every time for the past week that I have scrolled through my photos looking for something, I have given this one a double take. Then I remember..

It’s a mushroom I came across on the Ancient Groves trail by the Sol Duc river where Panos and I were walking last Sunday. I snapped a pic for Chaidie, whose expansive love of plants extends to fungi.

But… it’s just so large and yellow!
